“Bollywood world and Club Masala came into my life because of destiny. I met Sheri, who introduced me to this wonderful world full of energy and positivism. She is responsible for my skills as a Bollywood teacher and she gave me a great opportunity to share all this energy. Dancing is, for me, one of the best ways to express creativity and freedom and made it possible for me to feel Índia for real.”
SANDRA MUEDRA
Sandra is a 27 years old catalan girl and she is a Club Masala Teacher in 3 Centros Cívicos: Casinet de Hostafrancs, La Sedete and Cotxeres de Sants.
“I am a in social eduction, but since the first day I started dancing, I found a new way of being in life. I danced ballet for four years when I was a child. Later, when I could make my own decisions I chose Bellydance, and I am practising it. Two years ago, I had my first contact with Bollywood. I saw Sheri and her students dancing on stage and I thought to myself I wanted that for me too. Now I am with Masala and I can say that I smile all the times I dance. What is Bollywood dance for me? It is the way I feel I can express myself and my heart and by my body dance when I hear the music.”
SELENA RAMA
Selena, our 24 year old Madrid girl, she is in Club Masala, first in Madrid and now in Barcelona for 2 years already. She appeared on stage in the Cafeteria de Teatro de Madrid in "Dil Se". She is teaching Bollywood Dance in the centro cívico of Sagrada Família.

“I started dancing in London in 2002. I worked and I learned “hand technique” with “Bollywood Grooves” group. We had many shows together and later I decided to go on my own. I taught people of different ages and levels. In 2006 I moved to South America (Argentina and Peru) where I shared my bollywood dance knowledge.
Indian culture is something very special and exciting for me since I was a very young girl. I love to be dancing, and Bollywood Dance is awesome. I love the rhythm, colour and such a strong energy. I work very hard in order to extend my skills as a professional Bollywood dancer. Currently, I am a Club Masala teacher.”
TANYA DEVNANI
Tanya lives in the USA and she taught BHARATANATYAM style Club Masala during 2009.
"I began learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 10. I have trained with three gurus from 3 different Bharatanatyam schools that have each contributed uniquely to my knowledge of the art form.
I had my Arangetram ("ascending the stage"- first formal presentation of the dancer in front of an audience) in June of 2006. The Arangetram is a structured performance with a traditional repertoire of dances that gives the dancer an opportunity to display her skills in all components of Bharatanatyam."
